Bradley Kelly

Owner + Program Director

Bradley Kelly is super excited to be taking on this new entrepreneurial chapter of his life, from Cornwall, Prince Edward Island, he began dancing as a child and fell in love with the art. Bradley has many variety of styles of dance and awarded many different awards at various competitions, one being, The Maritimes Competitions, where he one the whole competition with the highest score. Bradley also has a musical theatre background, where you would have seen him performing in Anne of Green Gables ; The Musical (ensemble) Anne and Gilbert (assistant choreographer / swing) and also directing various different shows around the island. Bradley is very excited to welcome all dancers / performers to the studio and work with the creative team to design the best classes for all ages and levels.

Alice Gladstone

Sub Instructor + Social Media Assistant

Alice was born in England and moved to Canada at age 14. She began dancing as soon as she could walk, starting with ballet and soon moving to hip-hop. Since living in Canada she has expanded her dance knowledge to include contemporary, jazz, Afro-jazz, and step. She has competed at many competitions across the Maritimes, winning several awards at each. She also has featured in many shows across the Island including Street Feast, Island Fringe, and Diversecity. She has a love for exploring the world of dance and cannot wait to continue her story with Revolution Dance Studio.

Mackenzie Cutcliffe

Instructor

MacKenzie grew up here on Epekwitk/PEI dancing at Island Dance Academy before moving to New York City where she spent 6 years performing in venues across the USA. While performing MacKenzie also taught dance at the 92nd Street Y, Cap 21 – Molloy College and Circle in the Square Theatre School. MacKenzie is currently the choreographer and assistant director for Anne & Gilbert the musical. Favourite theatre credits include: White Christmas, Legally Blonde, Mary Poppins, Annie, Reefer Madness, and Twelfth Night. She performed as an original cast member in: Time Step – a tap dance revue, The Unseen – an immersive dance/theatre production, and Song & Dance Men – a comedy/tap dance cabaret. Choreography credits include: Anne & Gilbert, Reefer Madness, Legally Blonde, and Bagels From Benny (NBC New York’s list of must-see holiday shows).

Charlie MacLaren

Instructor

Charlie MacLaren was born and raised on Prince Edward Island. She began dancing at the age of two. She started with step dancing but soon fell in love and expanded her repertoire with highland and tap dancing. In her later years she began hiphop, jazz, contemporary, acro, ballet and acrobatics. Charlie has accomplished many awards and achievements including representing PEI at ScotDance Canada Championship Series numerous times, winning countless overall awards and participating in productions such as multiple runs of Highland Storm, street fusion and Island Vibe. Charlie has over 10 years of experience teaching students from the ages of 2 to 50. Charlie thrives to present an environment that is welcoming for all students. She is beyond excited to join the faculty at Revolution Dance Student.

Sam Jenkins

Instructor

Sam is a dancer from Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. She began her dance career with training in ballet, and later began to train in jazz, lyrical, contemporary, acro, tap, musical theatre. Sam danced competitively for over 10 years, and has been teaching for over 8! During Sam’s competitive career she was awarded top overall results at several of Canada’s best dance competitions, as well as being invited to the SDF Dance Tours, and other incredible dance opportunities. Sam co-directed her own competitive team, Studio 7, from 2019-2021, which was awarded many special awards, top marks, and choreography awards at over 7 Canadian Dance competitions. She believes in creating a safe space for dancers to be creative and fostering a love for dance and performing! She is so excited to share the joy of dance with the dancers at Revolution!

Ryan Whitty

Instructor

Ryan, 25, from Ontario Canada. Ryan has been heavily involved in the theatre community sense the age of 14 when he uncovered a knack for performing in his high school drama class, and a love for theatre after his first production of Grease that same year (2014). His passion for theatre has lead him through high school, and guided him to pursue Musical Theatre at Sheridan College in their Performance Prep Program, where he met his beautiful wife, Charlee Whitty. Together they have taken their shared interest from Ontario-PEI in hopes of mentoring the newer generation of performers on their craft. Ryan specializes in Directing and set design. Directing little scenes, and smaller performances all through high school, Ryan Directed his first production, High School Musical, back in 2022 before leaving Ontario.

Charlee Whitty

Instructor

Charlee is a dynamic 26-year-old performer and choreographer from Newmarket, Ontario, now making her home in New Glasgow, PEI. With a passion for dance sparked at age 4 and a love for musical theatre at 7, Charlee has always been drawn to the magic of theatre. Inspired by her incredibly talented mother, she pursued an arts education, graduating from Huron Heights Secondary School’s arts program with majors in dance, drama, and vocals. Continuing her training, Charlee attended Sheridan College’s performing arts program, where she honed her craft and learned all aspects of the performing arts. Some of her memorable theatre roles include Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz, Little Red in Into the Woods, and Dr. Frank N. Furter in The Rocky Horror Show. Now, she’s thrilled to add her professional production, Anne and Gilbert: The Musical, to her resume.

Susan Hammond-Bruce

Instructor

Born and raised in Ontario, Susan trained at the National Ballet School of Canada, the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School, Banff School of Fine Arts and Gladys Forrester’s School of Dance. She graduated with honours from George Brown School of Applied Arts and Technology’s Dance Program. As a student, professional dancer and choreographer Susan worked with The Dance Company of Ontario, Ottawa Dance Theatre, Gladys Forrester’s Dancers, The National Ballet of Canada, and The Canadian Opera Company. She performed as a corps de ballet member and soloist, dancing in classical works such as Giselle, Swan Lake, and Coppélia, as well as contemporary pieces.

Lauren Graham

Student Instructor

Lauren is a competitive step dancer from Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. Starting at the age of 6, she has trained in jig, reel and strathspey step dancing at multiple studios on PEI, as well as hip-hop, to expand her variety in performance styles. She has been competing across the maritimes ever since! Lauren has been awarded many individual awards, as well as group top marks, placements, and special recognition. In 2023, Lauren was awarded first place in her category and high score awards for her self-choreographed, non-traditional solo. She was also a senior dancer in “The Vault” group champion in 2023, two overall runner-up dances in 2024, and was praised with 2 special awards for her “crowd-pleasing” and “high energy” solo performances at the annual Island Dance Festival. Lauren adores working with kids, gaining experience and new teaching strategies through camp counselling and babysitting. She is so thrilled to have this rewarding opportunity and to see where her passion for dance takes her!

Ava Dow

Student Instructor

Ava was born and raised in Charlottetown, PEI. She has been dancing for over 10 years now, and is looking forward to continuing on at this new studio! Dancing is one of her biggest passions and looks forward to inspiring other young dancers. Ava has a wide variety of styles in dance, including; step, musical theatre, jazz, and hip hop. “I am so excited to share my knowledge and love for dance to the young ones in my class and can’t wait to get started!”
